We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Business Manager to oversee daily operations at our location in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of retail operations, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals across sales, customer service, logistics, and marketing departments.

  • Objective:
    • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency across departments.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment and drive business growth.

2. Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Management:
    • Supervise and support departments such as Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.
    • Conduct performance reviews and foster staff development.
  2. Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
    • Manage in-store sales activities, stock movement, and customer experience delivery.
  3. Performance Monitoring:
    • Track key performance metrics and generate reports for management.
    • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction trends.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement process improvements.
    • Set clear KPIs and ensure teams meet targets.
  5. Strategic Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with leadership on business growth strategies and expansion plans.
    • Facilitate meetings and updates to align departments with business objectives.
  6. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Manage customer escalations and internal conflict resolution.
    • Champion customer satisfaction by ensuring service excellence.
    • Implement systems to gather and act on customer feedback.

3. Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years of experience in business or operations management, preferably in retail.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Familiarity with retail tech tools, POS systems, inventory software, and CRM platforms.
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
