3. Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with business goals.
- Write and edit compelling website copy, including FAQs and service pages.
- Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging.
- Finalize social media profiles and descriptions to reflect the brand voice.
Digital Campaigns & Social Media
- Plan and execute pre-launch and launch marketing campaigns.
- Define campaign goals, KPIs, and tactics for performance tracking.
- Create and implement social media strategies across platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure visual and copy alignment.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance.
Audience & Brand Messaging
- Conduct audience research and develop personas to guide messaging.
- Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and positioning.
- Draft internal brand guides and documents.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints.
Sales Funnel & CRM Integration
- Collaborate with sales to design customer journeys from awareness to conversion.
- Develop sales funnel flowcharts and onboarding journeys.
- Define lead magnets and their implementation channels.
- Integrate and optimize CRM tools, including social media pipelines.
AI & Tool Integration
- Deploy efficient systems to manage work and teams.
- Research and test AI communication tools for automation opportunities.
- Support integration of chatbots and FAQs for customer-facing platforms.
- Recommend and implement technology solutions to enhance communications.
Strategic Business Communications
- Assist in developing pricing strategies and brand guideline documents.
- Prepare internal/external documents aligning business goals with communications.
- Support stakeholder communication across teams.
- Research and implement growth, marketing, and expansion initiatives with risk assessment.
Social Media Engagement & Community Management
- Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and mentions across platforms.
- Engage with the community to maintain brand warmth and trust.
- Flag and escalate customer issues to relevant departments.
- Track social sentiment and report trends for future content planning.
Content Creation
- Create engaging written and visual content for multiple platforms.
- Write captions, hooks, and hashtags for social media.
- Collaborate with designers or create graphics using tools like Canva.
- Produce marketing videos that effectively showcase our products.
Growth & Outreach
- Manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Run or assist in paid advertising campaigns.
- Explore trends and implement growth strategies.
- Create interactive content to boost engagement.
Publishing & Scheduling
- Schedule posts using appropriate tools.
- Ensure content is published at optimal times for audience engagement.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all platforms.
4. Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in communications, content creation, or marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Experience developing and executing content strategies.
- Proficiency with content creation and design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance tracking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Passion for clean energy and social impact.
Preferred
- Experience in the clean energy, sustainability, or social enterprise sectors.
- Knowledge of the African market, particularly Nigeria.
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools for communications.
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns.
- Video editing and production skills.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
