This program is designed for graduates and undergraduates to develop leadership skills and contribute to empowerment and skills development activities on their campuses.
1. Program Overview
- Application Deadline: May 2, 2025
- Stipend: NGN 90,000 monthly
- Duration: 9 months
- Objective:
- Provide real-world exposure and leadership opportunities for young Nigerians.
- Engage future leaders to act as liaisons between Unilever and their universities or polytechnics.
2. Requirements
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Must be serving or completed NYSC.
- Skills:
- Good financial and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Availability:
- Available to work full-time for one year.
3. Main Responsibilities
- Debt Management:
- Review outstanding invoices and track payment due dates.
- Implement debt collection strategies, including reminders and follow-up calls.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding customer accounts.
- Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments and collection efforts.
- Prepare and distribute reports on outstanding debts and credit risk.
- Credit Control:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of credit control policies.
- Identify and mitigate credit risks.
- Cash Management:
- Monitor Customer Bank Guarantee process and ensure proper cash management.
4. FUCA Program Details
- Leadership Journey:
- Engage 20 future leaders in a 9-month program.
- Lead projects such as empowerment and skills development activities on campuses.
- Build relationships with industry professionals and expand professional networks.
5. Application Process
- Stages:
- Stage 1: Complete the LevelUP: Lean Entrepreneurship Skills Course.
- Stage 2: Complete the Unilever ‘Brand’ Challenge.
6. Unilever Leadership Internship Programme
- Duration: 6 months/1 year
- Opportunity:
- Work on real-time projects to deliver business targets.
- Develop professional and networking skills.
