Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025/2026

Applications are now open for the 2025/2026 Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships, offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC). This scheme supports individuals with outstanding talent from eligible Commonwealth countries to pursue part-time Master’s study with UK universities while remaining in their home countries.

1. Scholarship Overview

• Application Deadline: 20 May 2025
• Intended Beneficiaries:
  • Candidates from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries.
• Objective:
  • Support talented individuals to become leaders and innovators in their home countries, fostering sustainable development and international collaboration.

2. Applicant Eligibility

• Citizenship and Residency:
  • Be a citizen of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
  • Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. Lower qualifications may be considered with relevant experience.
• Financial Need:
  • Be unable to afford the study program without this scholarship.

4. Benefits

• Tuition and Study Grants:
  • Covers tuition fees and study grants where required.
• Travel and Living Allowance:
  • For study based in the UK, covers airfare, visa costs, and living allowance.
